The ground rules

Terms of Service

18+ community · Fair play · Clear purchase expectations

01Joining Knucklehead

An adults-only community

You must be at least 18 to participate in Knucklehead Servers. You are responsible for meeting the access requirements of the games and platforms you use. Do not misrepresent your age or help someone bypass an age restriction.

Your account, your responsibility

Keep control of your game and community accounts. Do not impersonate another player, share access to evade a restriction, or use someone else’s identity. Steam, Discord and other platform accounts remain subject to their operators’ terms.

These terms cover Knucklehead’s website, community spaces, hosted game services and shop. Game-specific rules and product details supplement these terms. Rights that cannot legally be waived remain yours.

02Competition without the garbage

Fight hard. Play fair.

PvP, raids and rivalries belong in the game. Cheats, unauthorized automation, exploit abuse, ban evasion, threats, targeted harassment, hate speech and publishing someone’s private information do not belong here.

Respect the service and its people

Do not attack infrastructure, interfere with other players’ connections, attempt unauthorized access, or distribute malicious files. Send suspected security problems and exploit reports privately to the team rather than testing them against live services without permission.

Staff may investigate reports and act to protect players and services. A purchased product does not grant an exception to the rules.

03Creations, branding and player content

Knucklehead’s original artwork, writing and branding belong to their respective owners. Game names, publisher logos and third-party materials remain the property of their owners. Knucklehead is an independent community, not an official game-publisher service.

You keep ownership of content you create. When you submit content to a Knucklehead space, you give us permission to host, display and moderate it as needed to operate that space. This permission does not transfer ownership of your work or give us a blanket right to sell it.

Only upload material you have permission to share. Contact the team if you believe something hosted by Knucklehead infringes your rights.

04Orders, delivery and refunds

Read the listing before checkout

Each product listing identifies its game or server, contents, price, duration and any activation, cooldown or wipe limits. Digital purchases grant only the access or benefits described in that listing. They do not buy ownership of a server, account, in-game economy or future features.

Payment and fulfillment

Use the correct player identifier and review the total before paying. Payment-provider terms apply to payment processing. If an order is missing or assigned incorrectly, contact the team with your order reference; never send a card number, account password or payment-provider login.

Problems with an order

Contact us promptly if a purchase is duplicated, not delivered or materially different from its description. We will review the transaction, delivery and usage information and explain the available remedy. Activation does not remove any refund or other consumer right provided by applicable law.

Do not assume a purchase transfers between players, games or servers. Any transfer, renewal, cancellation or wipe treatment must be stated in the listing or agreed with the team. A community contribution does not promise in-game benefits unless its listing says so.

05Wipes, maintenance and service changes

Game worlds, inventories, rankings and virtual balances can change through normal gameplay, scheduled wipes, maintenance and game updates. The Rust page explains our wipe types; Discord carries operational announcements.

We may change features, schedules or supported games as the community develops. We aim to announce significant planned changes when practical. Emergency security work and outages may require immediate action. Product-specific commitments and applicable consumer rights still apply.

In-game currency and investments are gameplay systems. They are not deposits, securities or a promise of cash redemption.

06Restrictions, appeals and stored records

Rule violations can result in content removal, feature restrictions or temporary or permanent exclusion. Actions depend on the circumstances, their impact and available evidence. We may withhold details that would expose another person’s private information or undermine a security investigation.

You can ask for a review through the community’s Discord support route. Include your player identifier, the action you are appealing and relevant context. Do not publish someone else’s private information in an appeal.

A ban does not automatically erase moderation or transaction records, and an appeal does not guarantee that progress or items can be restored. Data handling is described in the Privacy Policy. Any effect on a paid product is reviewed under its listing and applicable law.

07Availability and responsibility

Online game services can experience downtime, bugs, balance changes and data loss. We do not promise uninterrupted access, a particular competitive outcome, or permanent preservation of worlds and progress.

To the extent allowed by applicable law, services are provided as available without additional promises beyond the terms and product descriptions we expressly make. Nothing here excludes a legal duty, warranty, remedy or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Keep your accounts secure and use good judgment when interacting with other players. Report service problems so we can investigate them.

08Updates and resolving concerns

The effective date appears at the top of this page, and later revisions will be dated. Significant changes will be highlighted through the website or community announcements. A revision does not retroactively remove an accrued consumer right.

Start by contacting the team with a clear description of the issue and the outcome you are seeking. These terms do not require you to give up a complaint, legal remedy or protection available under applicable law.

09Get in touch

Use Knucklehead Discord ↗ to reach the team about accounts, moderation, purchases or these terms. Ask for a private support route if your message includes personal information.

Staff will not ask you to post passwords, authentication codes, private keys or full payment details in a public channel.

Your information

Privacy Policy

What the service processes, why it matters, and your choices.

01Who handles your information

The service operates under the name Knucklehead Servers, an independent gaming community based in Texas. This notice describes information used to run our public website, community services, hosted games and shop. Third-party platforms operate under their own privacy notices.

02Information involved in using the service

Website connections

Serving a page or media file involves processing connection information such as an IP address, requested resource and request time. Hosting and security systems may record connection events to diagnose faults and investigate abuse.

Game and community activity

Game services can process player identifiers, display names, connection events, gameplay statistics, economy activity and moderation records. Content you post and information you provide in a support request are also part of operating the community.

Shop records

An order can associate a player identifier with a product, transaction reference, delivery status and support history. The payment provider processes payment details according to its own notice.

03Why we use it

We use service information to deliver pages and game features, fulfill orders, respond to support requests, maintain rankings and economy systems, enforce community rules, detect abuse and keep services reliable.

We also use records when needed to resolve transaction disputes and meet applicable obligations. Access should be limited to the people and service providers who need it for those purposes.

04Website storage and your browser

The current public website does not include an account login, advertising scripts or an analytics tracker. Your browser may cache images, video, fonts and other public files to speed up later visits.

Links to Discord, Steam, payment services or separate account-based applications take you to services with their own storage and privacy practices. This notice must be updated before adding tracking or materially changing the public site’s data handling.

05What other people can see

Your display name, posted messages, in-game actions and published player or clan rankings may be visible to other players. Avoid including personal details in a public profile or chat message.

We may share relevant records with providers supporting service delivery, payment processing or abuse prevention, or when required by law. A report or dispute may require sharing enough information to investigate it, with private details limited where practical.

06Platforms and service locations

Discord, Steam, game publishers and payment providers may process information in other countries under their own arrangements. Their notices explain their service locations and transfer practices.

Provider locations and arrangements can change. Consult the relevant platform or provider notice for information about its processing and any applicable transfer protections.

07How long records remain

Different records serve different purposes: connection logs support operations and security; moderation records support enforcement and appeals; order records support delivery, disputes and accounting. Backups may retain earlier copies after information changes in the active service.

Records are retained for the operational, security, appeal, transaction or legal purpose they serve. When that purpose ends, records should be deleted or de-identified unless another applicable obligation requires retention. Relevant criteria include an unresolved incident or appeal, an order dispute, an active account or game season, and applicable accounting or legal requirements. Backup copies follow the backup rotation rather than being edited individually.

08Requests and choices

You can contact us about access, correction or deletion of information associated with you. We may need to verify the request through the account concerned. Do not send an identity document or other sensitive material unless a necessary, secure verification method has been agreed.

Available rights depend on applicable law. Some records may need to remain for security, dispute handling or legal obligations; we will explain any relevant limitation. Deleting an account or leaving Discord does not by itself remove every game, transaction or backup record.

Use your browser and platform settings to manage their storage, profile visibility and communications.

09Protecting service information

We use access controls and operational safeguards intended to protect service information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Report suspected unauthorized access or accidental disclosure privately to the team.

Keep your own account credentials and recovery methods secure. We will not ask for your password or authentication codes in a public support conversation.

10Age requirements

Knucklehead is for adults aged 18 and over. Do not register, participate or submit personal information if you are under 18.

If you believe a minor has provided personal information to us, contact the team privately so we can investigate and address the information and access involved.

11Changes to this notice

We date this notice and its revisions. We will update it when service practices change and highlight significant changes through the website or community announcements where appropriate.

Privacy information for a new feature will be provided when that feature launches. Its data handling may differ from the public website described here.

12Contact and follow-up

Reach the team through Knucklehead Discord ↗ and request a private privacy-support conversation. Describe your request and the account or player identifier involved without posting confidential details publicly.
